Research

The last two miles remain one of the most overlooked challenges in everyday commuting.

91% of U.S. commuters travel to work by personal vehicle. Yet the final distance between parking and destination often remains inefficient.

The challenge isn't replacing the car. It's completing the journey more efficiently.

Last Two Miles

Many everyday destinations are only one to two miles away—too far to walk comfortably, yet too close to
justify driving.

Storage Problem

Unlike cars with designated parking spaces, scooters and other personal mobility devices often occupy valuable office space and become inconvenient after arrival.

Changing Needs

Sometimes users only need to travel themselves. At other times, they need to transport groceries, work equipment, or personal belongings. One mode cannot satisfy every journey.

Design Opportunity

Current personal mobility solutions end when the ride ends. ATLAS extends mobility beyond transportation by transforming into a modular system that adapts to changing daily needs, making commuting more flexible before, during, and after every journey.

Daily Activities

ATLAS extends mobility beyond transportation by transforming into a modular companion system. It adapts to commuting, storage, carrying, and everyday activities without interrupting the user's journey. Transforming a mobility device into an everyday companion that continues to support users after the ride ends.
